Construction

Every machine with its work, working hours and fuel.

Three works, a back-excavator, two mixer and a roller that are loaned over the phone. Drometra tells you where each machine is, how many hours it worked on each front and how much oil it was charged.

Illustrative scene of construction created for Drometra.

Three problems we know by memory

Let you know where each machine is, how much it worked on every work and how much oil it consumed, without waiting for the Friday part.

The machine was in the wrong play, and no one warned.

The roller went to another work on a Saturday, borrowed between the field leaders. On Monday the original work awaits it to compact and loses the morning.

With asset tracking each work is a geocerca. Drometra warns when a machine comes out of its own or moves out of time, and the map shows which work each one is in right now.

What we left set up
We draw each work on the map and connect the GPS of each machine; cars and equipment without their own battery carry an autonomous tracker.
What you got next
A map of machinery per building that all field leaders read the same.

We paid for hours of rent that the machine didn't work.

The retro leased full-day bill. The operator's part says less, and half-afternoon it was off waiting for the arid truck.

The GPS equipment connected to the machine reads the engine hours and Drometra separates them by work and by day. At the end of the month you cross the hours that the machine was on.

What we left set up
We connect the GPS that already bring your machines or we install a wiring that reads engine hours, and we separate the same ones from the leases.
What you got next
Engine hours per machine and work, ready to discuss the lease bill.

The oil is loaded into work and no one knows which machine it was

The supply truck fills ponds in three works. At the end of the month the supplier's bill brings liters that do not fit with any machine.

The winemaker or operator scores each load with liters and photo of the horometer, and Drometra leaves it in Costs and maintenance, charged to the machine and the work. Next to the engine hours, you see how many litres per hour each machine spends.

What we left set up
We define with you who scores the loads in each work and whether the supplier is own or a supplier.
What you got next
Litres per hour of each machine, comparable between works.

A Thursday with three open works

The head of the field of the work of Maipu needs the retro to open ditches. The retro is in Quilicura, ending a movement of land that has been extended. At seven and a half hours the administrator sees on the map where it is, how many hours it has been and since when it does not turn on.

  1. Machines for work

Each retro, mixer and roller appears in the work where it is, inside its geocerca.

  2. Hours on the front

The engine hours of each machine add to the work where it was on.

  3. Oil at close

Each load is recorded with liters and photo of the horometer, loaded to the machine and to the work.

A loaned roller on Saturday and a compaction that didn't start

  1. What happens

On Saturday, the head of Pudahuel's work takes the roller to finish a base. Monday at 8: 00, the Florida work has the crew ready to compact and there is no roller.

  2. What the team does

Drometra had announced on Saturday that the roller came out of its geocerca. The administrator sees it early on the map, coordinates the transfer in a low bed and returns it to Florida.

  3. How it ends

The roller comes before lunch and the hours he worked in Pudahuel are charged to that work. The conversation between the field leaders is part of a fact, not from who he remembers.

Questions you'll be able to answer

Every answer comes out of what your team already records at work. No one has to set up a spreadsheet for that.

How many hours did each machine work on every play this month?

Each machine's GPS engine hours, separated by the geocerca of the work where it was on.

You charge the cost of the machine to the work that used it and block the lease bills.

What machines have been in detention for days while another work asks for them?

Days without engine hours per machine, with the work where it is and the last time it moved.

You move the idle machine before you rent another one.

What machine spends more oil per hour of work?

Litres charged to each machine divided by its engine hours of the same period.

You send the workshop away from their peers or you correct how the charges are recorded in that work.

Your first weeks with Drometra

  1. Day 1: We connect the GPS that already have your machines and draw every work as geocerca on the map.
  2. Week 1: We install equipment that reads motor hours and self-contained trackers in cars and equipment without battery.
  3. Week 2: each work begins to score its oil loads with a photo of the horometer.
  4. Month 1: We close with you the first month of hours per work and cross it with the lease bills.
