Central Government

Who used every tax vehicle, for what and where, throughout the service.

Services with headquarters in several regions and tax vehicles that leave every day. Drometra leaves in writing who used each one, for what and where, and brings it together in one view for the entire service.

Illustrative scene of central government created for Drometra.

Three problems we know by memory

That each exit of a tax vehicle answers three questions without looking for papers: who used it, for what and where. The central level sees all regions; each region, only its own.

The paper log says the same thing on all lines

"Service commission" and the driver's signature, exit after departure. When someone asks for a trip three months ago, the answer depends on the driver's memory.

In Dromivia the log is armed with what has already happened: time of departure, journey, mileage and return, tied to the assigned task. The driver adds the fuel load, its observations and its signature; nothing is completed by memory at the end of the month.

What we left set up
We charge the vehicles of each region, the authorized drivers and the types of tasks the service uses.
What you got next
A digital log per vehicle, signed by the driver and can be consulted by date.

Each region carries its fleet in its own way and the central level sees nothing

One region uses a plank, another one a GPS contracted years ago and another the guard's notebook. Consolidate the park for the annual report takes weeks.

The Platform brings together all regions in a console with the same definitions: what is an output, what is a task, what counts as use. Each regional direction operates its own and the central level sees the whole.

What we left set up
We connect the GPS that already exist in each region and set up permissions by region and by role, with institutional SSO entry in Enterprise.
What you got next
The park all over the country in one view, with each region managing its own vehicles.

A van moved on a Sunday and no one can explain it.

The GPS shows off-schedule motion and there is no task for that day. By the time someone notices it, it's been weeks.

The rules and alerts of Drometra warn on the same day when a vehicle moves without assigned task, leaves the guardia or circulates outside the authorized time. The alert reaches the appropriate head, with the route and the last driver assigned.

What we left set up
We define with each region the authorized use times, the guarantors and to whom each alert reaches.
What you got next
Out-of-commission movements detected on time, with data to clarify them.

A Thursday in the General Service Unit

Atacama's regional address needs a vehicle for a check in Vallenar. The manager assigns the truck, the driver leaves with the job on the phone and, in Santiago, the central level sees that exit next to those of all other regions.

  1. Apportionment

The vehicle manager allocates unit and driver to a task with destination, motive and dates.

  2. In-route log

Dromivia opens the log when you leave: vehicle inspection, initial mileage and task path.

  3. Return and surrender

The final mileage, fuel load and observations are recorded on return; the log is closed.

The van that spent the night in Copiapó

  1. What happens

A mission to Caldera ends at 6: 00, but the van does not return to the regional management compound. At 11: 00 in the night the head receives the vehicle alert outside the compound.

  2. What the team does

The head opens the route: the van is parked in a accommodation in Copiapó. The driver had already warned Dromivia at five, that the return was left for the next day by a roadblock.

  3. How it ends

The evening is explained in the logbook of the mission, at the time of the notice. No one has to reconstruct it by memory months later, if a summary requests it.

Questions you'll be able to answer

Every answer comes out of what your team already records at work. No one has to set up a spreadsheet for that.

How many departures of the month have no assigned task?

Departures detected by GPS or Dromivia, crossed with the tasks assigned to that vehicle at the same time, by region.

Ask the region for the explanation with the details of each output and adjust the authorizations.

Which vehicles don't come out and which ones don't supply?

Days with departure, kilometres and hours of use per vehicle and per region, in the period of your choice.

Transfer vehicles between regions before asking for a new budget.

What documents are due this quarter and in which region?

Movement permit, SOAP and technical review of each tax vehicle, with its expiry date and region.

Program the renovations with time and no vehicle comes out with a expired document.

Your first weeks with Drometra

  1. Day 1: we charge the park of a pilot region with patents, authorised drivers and documents of each vehicle.
  2. Week 1: the drivers of that region leave with Dromivia and each task is left with their digital log.
  3. Week 2: We activate off-schedule use alerts and head permissions, and we connect existing GPS.
  4. Month 1: We add the other regions with the same definitions and deliver the first national view.
