Chile, Peru, Argentina and Bolivia, in maps our
Each country is a single PMTiles file built from OpenStreetMap and saved in our object storage. About Chile, each toll of the country located on its road and at its 2026 rate. Choose a trip to see the fictional car pass through them.

"Base rate" is the lowest car rate of each point: out of point on urban highways and normal on routes with high time. Urban porticos change according to time and day; the map shows all its bands. 3 points were unconfirmed in 2026 and do not generate automatic charges: the map draws them blank and says why.
Passing by a toll is not going through it.
The GPS of a vehicle does not distinguish a freeway from the caltiere that runs 12 meters away. Therefore, each step near a toll is tested with two explanations of the same trace: the best one that passes through the portico and the best one which completely avoids it, with the real road network. In the two they count the speed that the equipment reports against the limit of each track, that the GPS error is drained by tens of seconds and that underground there is no signal.
TAG cobro
The trail is at least 400 times more likely to go through the toll than by avoiding it, and it remains so when recalculating with the triple of candidate streets. It adds to the cost of the trip at the rate of that hour.
Verification alert
The two explanations compete: very spaced points, a glued calet or a tunnel without a signal. It does not add to the cost: the driver's or boss's report asks whether the vehicle passed, with the estimated probability, and the answer confirms or dismisses it.
No registration
Avoid the toll explains the same or better the trace. It is the case of the caltiere, the opposite sense and the step above or below the portico.
What did the evidence measure?
8,388 simulated travel around the 311 active points of the country, with a GPS point every 5, 15 or 30 seconds and a 5 to 12 meters error that is dragged like that of a real team: real passes for each toll and 4,674 routes that pass less than 60 meters without crossing it - through the caltiere, in the opposite sense, up or down - half with the GPS running towards the toll and many faster than normal.
- Coves on routes that did not cross the toll
- 0
- Actual past charges
- 74.1 %
- Real past that were left as a warning
- 24.1 %
- Actual passes without registration
- 1.8 %
| One GPS point each | Covered | On alert | No registration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 s | 82.6 % | 17 % | 0.5 % |
| 15 s | 72.9 % | 26.1 % | 1 % |
| 30 s | 66.4 % | 29.5 % | 4.2 % |
With equipment that only report position, without speed or direction: 68.1 % of the actual past charges, 28.6 % on alert and 0 cobros on routes that did not cross, in 6,516 travel. In the face of doubt, the alert engine: never lower the threshold to charge more.
And the most difficult test: 4,614 trips that reach the toll and turn around without crossing it - in the middle of the square, in a return or in a link, half after waiting up to three minutes -, 9,024 that stop in the caltiere next to the portico and 4,968 Rear passes with a tail in front of the shed, on each gate of each point and with the two types of equipment: 0 cobros to whom he did not cross.

Built with Planetiler 0.10.2 and the OpenMapFiles scheme. The toll register uses the OpenStreetMap extract from the September 21, 2026 and tables 2026 of the General Directorate of Concessions; the complete dataset is in the storage of objects.
What is this map and what is not
A base map is not a route
The map shows the road network. Calculating a route over it needs a separate routing graph, which is built, published and verified separately. That a street is seen does not mean that it can be routed by it already.
Public data only
The files contain OpenStreetMap and official toll records. Vehicles, works and geocercas come from the private API of each client and are never written on a public map.
Rates with source and date
Each amount comes out of Table 2026 of the General Directorate of Concessions and was tested against the PDF text. Where the State does not publish the fee (four tax places of Viality) the map says so rather than estimate it.
The detection is laboratory.
The fictional car runs on real routes with simulated GPS. It measures the method before connecting it to a customer's equipment; it does not replace the concessionaire's ticket, it serves to review it.
