Truck leasing

The life sheet of each truck, from the way it comes out of your yard until it comes back.

A leasing contract lasts years, and in the end it is discussed what no one has scored: kilometers, long-term, the hit on the bumper. Drometra has been carrying the truck's life sheet since it left your yard.

Illustrative scene of truck leasing created for Drometra.

Three problems we know by memory

That each leased truck has a full life sheet, from delivery to return, and that the conversation about its residual value is based on data that the two parties have already seen.

The client does twice a mile of the contract and we find out when he returns it.

The truck was arranged for urban distribution and ended up making trips to Puerto Montt. The wear is only seen when he returns to the courtyard.

Drometra receives the opometer and engine hours from the GPS of the truck, and a rule warns when the use of the month comes out of the agreed. You know it in month three and not in year five, and you convert it with the numbers of your own truck.

What we left set up
We charge every contract with your truck, your client and the agreed miles, and we connect the GPS that each unit brings.
What you got next
A contract notice when the use is diverted, with the monthly history behind it.

They tell us the maintenance was done, but there is no order or date.

The customer takes the truck to a trusted workshop in Concepción and warns WhatsApp. When he returns it, no one knows what was changed.

Each maintenance enters the truck's history on the Platform with date, mileage and the workshop's work order photo. If the notice comes without the order, it remains pending until the paper appears.

What we left set up
We charge your maintenance plan by model and mileage, and we give the customer access to upload your workshop orders.
What you got next
Maintenance with date, mileage and order, and a clear list of missing.

At the end of the contract we discussed the residual value with each other's memory

The truck comes back with a slug, spent tires and five years of history spread out between e-mails, sheets and a file.

The life sheet brings together the photos of the delivery, the use of each month, the maintenance with your order and the damage informed. Michiva answers questions like "How many maintenance was delayed in this truck?" with the data and its source.

What we left set up
We use the same pattern of photos in delivery and return, and we keep the exit inspection from the first day.
What you got next
A return folder that the two parties can look at before sitting down to negotiate.

Month 29 of a five-year contract

A Temuco distributor has three of your trucks. One is a lot more than agreed and has the maintenance of the 60,000 km pending. You see it on the console before the client calls to ask for a fourth truck.

  1. Truck delivery

The whole truck is photographed with Dromivia, the opometer is read and its life sheet is open in the contract.

  2. Years of use

The GPS reports miles and hours of engine, and the console compares them month to month with what was agreed.

  3. Return

The same pattern of photos as in the delivery, with all the maintenance and use of those years next.

The maintenance of the 90,000 that was half-finished

  1. What happens

A lease to a building company is over 90,000 km. The maintenance of the plan does not appear on its life sheet and the client claims it did in Los Angeles.

  2. What the team does

The console marks the maintenance as expired and the account executive asks for the order of work. The customer uploads it by photo: it was done, but without the change of filters that the plan asks.

  3. How it ends

The filters are changed that same week and the life sheet is up to date. When the tract returns, that maintenance is no longer discussed.

Questions you'll be able to answer

Every answer comes out of what your team already records at work. No one has to set up a spreadsheet for that.

What customers use their trucks more than agreed?

Kilometers and engine hours per month from the GPS, against the limits charged in each contract.

You convert an addition or a quota adjustment during the contract, not the return.

What trucks are holding back today?

Maintenance of the plan due by mileage or date that have no associated work order.

You call the right client this week and take care of the status of the truck you're gonna get.

How does every truck that ends a contract this year come in?

Cumulative use, maintenance completed and damage reported by truck, from your life sheet.

You prepare the return inspection and resale price months in advance.
