Transport and logistics

Each pallet attached to his dispatch, his truck and the signature of the recipient.

In a distribution center the load changes hands three times before reaching the customer. Drometra ties each pallet to his dispatch, to the truck that carries him and to the signature of the one who received him at each transfer.

Illustrative scene of transport and logistics created for Drometra.

Three problems we know by memory

Know at all times which truck each pallet carries, who received it at the last transfer and what package is missing, without calling three wineries to find out.

The winery dispatched twelve, the client received eleven, and no one knows where the other was.

The charge went through the distribution center and a relief truck. Each one swears that he delivered complete and the missing one appears only in destination.

In the Platform the dispatch is a work with its lines, and each transfer requests in Dromivia the amount received and the signature of the recipient. If someone receives less, the difference is marked on that stretch, not at the end of the trip.

What we left set up
We charge your wineries, platforms and transfer points, and we define with you what is counted in each relay: pallets, packages or both.
What you got next
A chain of dispatch transfers where the missing one has a stretch, time and name.

The truck comes in the hour and waits two hours for a platform

The driver is in the line of the compound, the GPS shows him in detention, and in the office he seems to have stayed for lunch.

Dromivia separates the arrival to the enclosure, the start of the discharge and the exit with a touch of the driver, and the live map shows the truck inside the center. The waiting is seen as expected, apart from the handling.

What we left set up
We draw the perimeter of your centers and the enclosures of your big customers, and we leave the milestones of platform in the app.
What you got next
Hours of waiting per site and per customer, separated from the time on the road.

We changed the truck in the middle of the way and the dispatch followed in the first name.

One truck fails in Rancagua, the charge passes to another and the bill, the route and the claim are tied to the wrong patent.

The console realises the work to the second truck from the point of change, and the vehicle history shows each section with its patent. The workshop receives the failure in the truck that really stayed.

What we left set up
We import your own fleet and that of the carriers who work with you, so that any patent can take an dispatch.
What you got next
All of its sections are packed, and each patent is loaded with just what it handled.

5: 00 in the morning on platform 4

Two trucks arrive from the plant, six go out to regions and one is late. The head of the shift delivers pallets on the console, each driver sees in Dromivia what he has to go up and the one who was late already has platform and load waiting for him.

  1. Reception in platform

The plant truck downloads and who receives pallets and signs in Dromivia against what the guide says.

  2. Cross-docking

The load is distributed on the console between the output trucks and each driver sees which pallets go up.

  3. Signed transfer

In each relay, the one that delivers and the one that receives confirm quantities; the difference is open, with a name.

The 38 pallet left in Talca's truck.

  1. What happens

At 6: 00 the truck leaves for Concepción without the 38 pallet. On the platform no one finds it and the client is waiting for it today.

  2. What the team does

The console shows that the last transfer was signed by the driver who goes to Talca. The dispatcher weapons a relief in a servicenter of Route 5 and both drivers see it in Dromivia.

  3. How it ends

The driver of Concepción receives the pallet, account and sign, and the client has it in the afternoon. The head of shift knows what he carried wrong and at what time.

Questions you'll be able to answer

Every answer comes out of what your team already records at work. No one has to set up a spreadsheet for that.

What are our packages missing in?

Differences between the delivered and the received in each transfer, grouped by center, platform and carrier, from the Dromivia signatures.

You know if the problem is on the platform's load, on the relief or on the last stretch, and who to call.

How long are our trucks waiting in every compound?

Minutes between the arrival at the enclosure and the start of the download, by center and by customer, with the driver's milestones and the truck's position.

You take specific numbers to the conversation with the client that makes you wait, or you move out.

What pallets are still on the road without a truck?

No vehicle-assigned or no transfer lines confirmed at the end of the shift.

The next shift goes with the orphan load in sight, and it is not discovered by the client.
