Freight transport

Long trips in sight from beginning to end, without calling the driver.

A long journey is a day's journey, cabin nights, rows in the field or in port and an dispatch guide that has to be set at the end. Drometra shows you the entire journey without waking anyone.

Illustrative scene of freight transport created for Drometra.

Three problems we know by memory

Let the dispatcher know where each tract goes, why he is detained and with what he comes back, and let the dispatching guide close with the signature of the person who received the charge.

A truck has been standing in Los Vilos for three hours and no one knows if it's rest or failure.

On the map you see a quiet point. The dispatcher calls, the driver is sleeping and the call ruins his rest.

Dromivia lets the driver mark rest, fuel, control or failure with a touch, and the console shows the motive next to the stopped truck. If it stops without any reason longer than agreed, a rule warns the dispatcher.

What we left set up
We set up with you the reasons for the arrest and how long a truck can hold still before we generate notice.
What you got next
A map where each truck stopped has a motive or an alert, never a question sign.

The guide says twenty pallets and in the port counted nineteen

The difference appears in the download, a thousand kilometers from the winery, and the discussion begins by mail three days later.

The dispatch guide travels at work as a photo from the exit. In destination, the recipient confirms the amount in Dromivia, signs and remains the picture of the seal intact or broken, all on the same journey that will be billed.

What we left set up
We define what is captured when loading and unloading, and we adjust the steps for work and ports with own access rules.
What you got next
A closed trip with guide, seal, amount received and signature, ready to billing or to discuss.

The truck is back empty from Calama because no one knew in time that it was free

The discharge was completed at noon, the office was found out the next day and the truck already started the unloaded return.

When a signature is received, the console shows the free truck in its real location and the dispatcher allocates a close return load. You can also ask Michiva which tracts are left free in the north this week.

What we left set up
We charge your return customers and their usual loading points to appear on the map as available jobs.
What you got next
We are assigned back while the truck is still in the north, not when Copiapó has passed.

Second night on the way to Antofagasta

The tract has spare parts for a job and the driver sleeps in the cabin past Vallenar. In the office the dispatcher sees the truck stopped, knows it is rest because the driver marked it and does not call it. At dawn the truck moves again.

  1. Departure with guide

The driver photographes the dispatch guide and the rampla seal in Dromivia before leaving the courtyard.

  2. Route and rest

Each arrest appears on the map with its motive: rest, fuel, control or failure.

  3. Discharge at destination

In the factory or the port that is signed, differences are recorded and the truck is free for return.

Four hours in the faggot.

  1. What happens

The tract reaches the factory at 8: 00, but the access calls for an induction that no one warned. The driver waits in the garita and the discharge runs in the afternoon.

  2. What the team does

The driver marks the waiting at Dromivia with a note of the motive. The dispatcher sees it, warns the customer and passes to another truck the return he had assigned.

  3. How it ends

The download is signed at 4: 00 and the trip is kept with a separate wait from the handling. When the stay is charged to that client, the four hours have backup.

Questions you'll be able to answer

Every answer comes out of what your team already records at work. No one has to set up a spreadsheet for that.

How many miles do we do without a load?

Unloaded traffic between a download and the next load, by truck and by route, from work and GPS route.

You know what routes a client needs to return and which one should go out and look.

Where are our hours waiting?

Time between the arrival and the download signed in each factory, port or winery, with the waiting that the driver marked.

Time deals or stay charges with the customer who makes the most of it wait.

What trips ended without a signed guide?

Travel downloaded with the signature, the photo of the guide or the amount received still pending.

You close those trips before billing and do not discover the gap when the customer objects to the invoice.
